Freedom Verses engages our work as a pathway to a liberated future for racially marginalized queer and trans people and communities, including ourselves. This frame and our values guide us in everything we do – including how we do our work and with whom we work. We move beyond survival and scarcity culture by viewing spaciousness, abundance, rest, and replenishment not as luxuries, but as necessities. Along with deep relational work and connecting with values, we encourage individuals and organizations to leverage play and creativity to bring forth new possibilities.
Because we recognize that we are all part of broader ecosystems, we work toward bringing attention and intention to the impacts we have on one another. Freedom Verses commits to ensuring our business practices and the work we choose move us toward the world we are imagining – one that minimizes harm and violence, especially for racially marginalized, queer, trans, poor & working class, and disabled folks.
